Gareth Vaughan

Gareth brings fantastic interpersonal skills and a genuine love of helping people to his role in property recruitment at Worth Recruiting.

He began his property career in the summer of 2016 as a Lettings Negotiator in leafy Cheam and over the years, gained diverse experience covering several competitive markets, including Mitcham, Tooting, Colliers Wood, and Carshalton. Under the guidance of excellent branch managers who influenced, guided, and inspired him, Gareth quickly learned what it takes to be a superb negotiator.

Following five successful years in this role, culminating in a position at a busy branch in Raynes Park, Gareth embarked on an exciting new opportunity that enabled him to work closely with high-end properties in Richmond upon Thames. Operating in a fast-paced environment, he achieved excellent results while successfully navigating the full-on ups and downs of a demanding market where winning new instructions was key.

While estate agency was an exciting career where Gareth hit the ground running, moving into property recruitment felt like the natural next step. It allows him to blend his deep industry roots with his passion for helping people.

"With first-hand industry knowledge, I understand our clients' needs and the specific obstacles of hiring staff," says Gareth. "I can easily empathise with candidates because I have walked in their shoes. It is incredibly exciting to work in an advisory capacity, offering a transparent, effective pathway to success for everyone involved."

Outside of the office, Gareth’s biggest passion is his young son and when he gets a bit of downtime, you'll likely find him playing the acoustic guitar or keeping up with the rugby. Naturally, as his name might give away, he is a fiercely loyal supporter of the Welsh national team, much to the distress of the company owners.
