Job Title: PER LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR – Residential Lettings

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Experienced Lettings Negotiator required to manage applicant enquiries, conduct viewings, secure lets, and build landlord and tenant relationships within a busy residential lettings office in Reading.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join a successful independent Sales and Lettings agency covering the Reading area. This role suits someone with previous lettings or property experience who can confidently handle viewings, negotiations, and client relationships while contributing to office performance and portfolio growth. 

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

• Registering applicants and matching them to suitable properties
• Arranging and conducting property viewings
• Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants
• Generating new lettings business opportunities
• Managing applicant and landlord communications
• Progressing lets from offer agreed to move-in
• Maintaining accurate records and CRM updates
• Supporting marketing and property advertising activity
• Delivering high levels of customer service 

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

• Previous experience in residential lettings or estate agency
• Strong customer service and client-facing skills
• Confident telephone manner and communication skills
• Professional and well-presented approach
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Self-motivated and team-oriented
• Good knowledge of the Reading area preferred
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential
• Organised and detail focused
